Personal Design’s
well this page has nothing to do with my university work. this page consists of designs of mine over the last 11 years. which were doodles throughout my school books, developed, then used throughout my university interviews.

Tectonics - 2006
Started as sketches of pieces of jigsaw in a geography lesson on tectonic plates. the concept behind the design was the rigid tectonic plates constantly shaping and transforming the planet. the shapes and forms of the sections change in both direction, shape and scale depending on its circulation away from the centre of the design (the plate boundary). while illustrating that these structures thrust from out of the ground exploding across the surface, creating a new form of space.
The shattered glass panels, illustrate the crystal forms produce through the immense heat given of by magma at a plate boundary, forming windows which allow fragments of light through the space depending on the time of the day.

Aerial View, illustrating the tectonics emitting from the central section of the concept. (below)
